A message from the PW Director regarding the sewer rate increase

Good morning,

The City’s Wastewater Treatment Plant must be replaced due to capacity issues, loading levels being exceeding in the recent past, and components being more than 50 years old. The anticipated project cost is between forty-five ($45) million and fifty-five ($55) million dollars to complete all phases of the work.

Council Study Session and Regular Meeting

The Selah City Council will meet on Tuesday, January 9th at 4:30 p.m. for a regular scheduled study session regarding the City of Selah Safety Plan. Immediately after the meeting, the Council will meet for their regular scheduled meeting at 5:30 p.m.

Location: City Hall, 115 W. Naches Ave, Selah

This meeting is open to the public and everyone is encouraged to attend.

Notice of Anticipated Quorum

Thursday, December 21, 2023, at 2:00 p.m.

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE the City anticipates that there will be a quorum of Council Members attending the City’s Audit Exit Conference in the conference room at City Hall, located at 115 W. Naches Ave, Selah WA 98942.  The City Council will take no formal action at this meeting.
